The berries can be harvested from June/July. White currant (Ribes rubrum ‘White Pearl’) loses its leaves in the winter, is very Hardy and can withstand temperatures up to -34 degrees Celsius without problems. If you plant the white currant in a sunny spot you can enjoy a good harvest of healthy white berries. Ribes rubrum ‘White Pearl’ gives large, white berries. Ribes rubrum ‘White Pearl’ gives long bunches of very good tasting white berries in summer. Richly bearing. In winter cut back heavy (side) branches.
