The Agapanthus Fireworks is the first re-flowering evergreen bicolour Agapanthus in the world! The plant has proven Hardy to -10 ºC, which is more Hardy than other evergreen and bicolour Agapanthus species. It has short, broad green leaves that are a great contrast to the flowers. These large purple-white umbels have several trumpet-shaped flowers that stand high on a stem. The flowers of the Agapanthus contain a lot of nectar and are therefore often visited by butterflies, bees and even birds. The Agapanthus has a long flowering period from June to September. The plant does not need pruning. Only the leaves that have turned yellow can be cut off. After flowering, you can remove the remaining flower stems. The plant is very hardy to -10 degrees and can therefore easily survive the winter in the Netherlands. This sun lover is drought and heat resistant and therefore easy to maintain.
