Description
Astelia Silver Shadow’ is a compact plant that grows straight up and about 80 cm high and wide with long striking silver-green leaves. It looks as if there is a metallic sheen over the leaves. It is a beautiful addition to the perennial border but also very suitable in a pot on the balcony or terrace. It is a real terrace plant for the summer, needs little water and can stand the sun well. Silver Shadow’ can be placed in both full sun and semi shade, but prefers a sunny spot. Hardy to -5 ºC, but it is recommended to protect the plant at colder temperatures.
