Clematis Jackmanii’ is a clematis with medium-sized, deep purple-blue flowers. These appear during the summer months, July to September. The clematis is a Hardy plant that can endure the Dutch winter very well. It has great ornamental value because of its beautiful shape and inflorescence. Prune the clematis at the end of the winter back to 30 cm above the ground, in this way you get the richest blooms and keep the plant in good shape. If you want to grow your clematis along a rack or fence, it is advisable to help the plant a little. You can do this by neatly tying the new shoots along the rack or through the fence.
