Description
The ‘Festuca Glauca Azura Blue’, also called Blue Fescue, is a striking appearance. This bright silver-blue-coloured grass adds a special colour accent to your garden! The sheep grass is Hardy and evergreen and therefore provides a beautiful sight throughout the year. Its ornamental value makes it suitable for any garden, from rock garden to modern garden. In the months of June and July, beautiful cream-coloured plumes appear in the sheep-grass. These continue to flower until well into the winter. It is better not to prune the ‘Festuca’ but to comb it. By doing so you remove the ugly, brown and loose blades from the plant by hand. It is advisable to cut the old flowers from the plant in early spring to make room for new flowers. The ‘Festuca’ will grow to a maximum height of 50 cm and is therefore a compact grower.
