The berries can be harvested from June/July. White currant (Ribes rubrum ‘White Pearl’) loses its leaves in the winter, is very Hardy and can withstand temperatures up to -34 degrees Celsius without problems. If you plant the white currant in a sunny spot you can enjoy a good harvest of healthy white berries. Ribes rubrum ‘White Pearl’ gives large, white berries.
